What are some good universities in New York?We Answered:
I would look at Binghamton, Stonybrook, Purchase (all SUNY), Hunter or Baruch (CUNY), if you just want to look at public schools. Don't forget that private schools often give scholarships (NYU isn't good for that though). You should try Manhattanville and Colgate.Emily Said:

I have a "D" in one of medical school admissions requirements, should I even bother applying to schools? We Answered:
I know, I'm in the same position. However, you absolutely still need to apply. a 3.6 is not a bad GPA at all (the top medical schools look for a 3.9). Depending on how you do with the MCATs, you are still possibly very competitive.
Also, medical schools like to see an upward trend. It's a good thing that your D was from your freshman year, and that you have done better ever sense. I would suggest talking to your medical school adviser who can probably give you some better information, but I certainly would not despair.

Are there any graduate schools on Long Island that offer Veterinary Medicine? We Answered:
No. There are only 28 vet schools in the country and there is no such thing as "graduate schools offering the same program". It's either a vet school or it's not... plain and simple. You're lucky to have one in-state school, most states don't even have one.Willie Said:

Here are the tuition rates:http://www.nyu.edu/financial.aid/tuition…
$40,672 a year for an undergraduate commuter student.
