Information about sports medicine?We Answered:
You shouldn't even be thinking about a specialty in medicine yet. Anything you do now is not going to raise your chances of being a sport medicine doctor. Get into a decent university and receive A's in all the prerequisites (chemistry, biology, physics, and organic chemistry), do well on the MCAT, and be involved in your community (volunteer, join different extracurricular activities), and shadow different physicians to show that you've had some amount of clinical experience. Then you can apply to medical school. Once you get in, you can start saying that you're interested in sports medicine.

I am thinking about a career in Sports Medicine, what university courses should i be looking at?We Answered:
You should be looking at undergraduate programs in Kinesiology. Here are some links to the program websites for the universities that you're interested in.
UWO: http://www.uwo.ca/fhs/kin/ug/programs/in…
Queen's: http://www.queensu.ca/skhs/Testing/Prosp…
McGill: http://www.mcgill.ca/edu-kpe/prospective…
Of these three, McGill's program is the most reputable. UofT and York also have some good programs, but I take it you're trying to get out of Toronto. :)
Good luck, and I hope this helps!

Sports Medicine course?We Answered:
Depending on the scope of the course, it might help with both. If the Sports Medicine course covers topics such as physiology and pharmacology it could help you in AP Biology and/or Pharmacy. You'd have to provide more information about the Sports Medicine course for a definite answer.Curtis Said:
