it totally depends. You can be a lab tech and do research, and that will require a bachelor's. You'll do higher/more independent levels of work, design your own research, and get higher up management positions later, if you have a master's or a PhD.

That's not meaning to say you cannot rise to a satisfying position from a tech with a B.A.

Using your own stem cells to regrow any organ will still contain your DNA. Therefore, all stem cells derived from anyone with a chromosomal abnormality will still contain that abnormality. (This is the same reason banking your baby's cord blood in hopes of saving its life one day is somewhat of a waste of money.) However, using donor cells would result in regeneration based on the donor's DNA. (A good reason to donate your baby's cord blood to a public cord blood bank.)

I'm not sure how closely related stem cell research and gene therapy are.

We are decades away from any such treatments being approved by the FDA in the US.

i personally dont believe it has a beneficial effect. most doctors say it will help but statistics say a majority of cancers come back after they do treatment.

have you noticed how its still there with all the treatment? Vitamin B17 is starting to come to light as the cure for cancer (not in america of course). and they have many cures overseas. i shouldnt be saying this considering my training, but the american medical system of doctors should not be your source for learning about cancer.
