japanese minor, veterinary medicine major? is it possible? We Answered:
I'm a little confused. You are receiving you minor? One receives a degree, not a major or minor! And you can't do a minor without a major. If you are now going for a bachelor's degree, yes, you can have a completely different major from your minor, but all you get is one degree. I don't know about your master's degree. If you choose to take one before going to vet school (which isn't required), it would probably have to be some kind of science, and usually you need to have the same bachelors degree as master's in the sciences.Good luck! I taught at Temple in Philadelphia for four years, but I never made it over to Temple Japan.

Will I get into Medical School? I have a GPA of 3.9 (for both science and overall) and 26N on the MCAT?We Answered:
Boy, something seriously went wrong with your MCAT. There's a strong corollary between the GPA and the MCAT, so it would be expected that you'd get in the high 30's or low 40's with your GPA. Unfortunately, the MCAT is considered the strongest indicator of how well you will do in medical school, so I'd recommend repeating it before you apply to any school.I would also recommend you apply to the schools that you really want to attend, especially if your repeat MCAT comes up dramatically. By the way, the AAMC offers excellent practice MCATS, which are worthwhile.
