is george washington university school of medicine and health science a medical school?We Answered:
It's an excellent school. One of my good friends attended it. It is rather expensive living in DC, though.Aaron Said:
Do you have to go to the medical school to take the interview for it?We Answered:
Yes. And you have to pay for the flight and hotel too. You'll need a couple thousand dollars saved up just for this purpose - especially if you're applying to schools all over the country.Mark Said:
Will I be accepted into the University of Washington School of Medicine?We Answered:
Hey man, if you are ambitious enough to be a doctor, you should also be hardworking enough to keep your grades way up. 3.5 will not stand out to med school admission committees since they see GPAs that are closer to 4.0 all the time.My advice to you is;
1. Get your grades as high as you possibly can. If you get a 4.0 every semester until you graduate, your GPA will increase significantly by the time you graduate.
2. Try to intern at hospitals every summer. If you can, spend summers working in developing countries and do other things that will make you stand out.
3. Compare yourself to other applicants that have gotten into the schools you are looking at. For that, visit http://www.mdapplicants.com You can see profiles of thousands of people who are applying to med school and some who have already been through the process. Most of them write about their experiences with each school. It will be very helpful to you.
Good luck!
