If history is what you want to teach...then go for it!! You can't let anyone tell you what to do with YOUR career. Not parents, friends, no one. If your heart isn't in nursing, then nobody will want you as their nurse. It's better to realize that now rather than later. But at least get your Masters so you can teach at the college level.2 years are gonna past wheter you go to school or not. At the end of those 2 years, you can have your history degree or still be standing around wondering what to do. Which is it gonna be?? Good luck.
