Erica Said:

What books, study guides, or other material can I read to insure my enrollment into a college nursing program?

We Answered:

There are no guarantees in life.

Contact some nursing schools that you might like to attend and ask THEM these questions. That is what they are there for.

Steve Said:

What are some good resources to help me in a college nursing statistics class?

We Answered:

cramster.com....if you are lucky your textbook will be on this site. They give you homework help and step by step instructions on how to do some of the problems if the write textbook is on there. If not you can always find a similar text book and try similar problems to the ones you are working on.

I need to find the top ten junior college nursing programs in the united states?

We Answered:

Are you looking for LPN or RN?

My alma mater was Western Iowa Tech in Denison, IA. They do have a campus in Souix City (the main branch). I can tell you that it will take about a year or 2 to get your LPN based on your prerequisites. It is a 2 semester course with part 1 in the fall and part 2 in the spring.

Had I stayed in Iowa I am sure I would have passed, but alas I went to a different state. They also give you on the job training as a course requirement while you are there.

Zachary Said:

Setting up a meet and greet with the head of the college nursing department?

We Answered:

Well the easiest way would be to ask the Admissions offices at these various colleges if the heads of the department do meet and greets. If not, you can talk to the admission counselors who would be able to let you know the courses and the pre-reqs required for entrance into the school. They would also be the best means of helping you personally than from you researching. If they are unable to answer your questions they may direct you to the higher ups who would then talk to you.
If the heads do meet and greets then you may be able to set up an appointment through their secretaries - which is another process that can be done by contacting the admissions office.

Good luck!
