Diploma In Nursing
Nathaniel Said:
Nursing diploma from overseas. How long will it take me to get my Ba in nursing at a uni in FL?We Answered:
depends on you and the schoolFrancis Said:
Is it better to do a degree program for nursing or a nursing school program where you recieve a diploma ?We Answered:
No matter what anyone says... having a degree is always better than a certificate or diploma. Not that there is anything wrong with the certificate route. I have a few certificates. But now I am working on my Degree, and the fact is, having an Associates Degree means not only are you qualified in what ever major you take, but it also means you have mastered other courses that are valuable in your career choices such as Math, English, etc. Plus, who's to say in three years from now you may want to progress further, meaning going for that Bachelors Degree. If you take the certificate route, ask someone at the school if your courses can be transferred as college credit later incase you do decide to go after that Degree later on. A certificate will get you to a point in your career, but a Degree can take you to that same point and prepare you to go further later! Good luck with what ever you choose!Sylvia Said:
What is the difference between a nursing diploma and a degree? We Answered:
a diploma is a 2 year course designed for people who want to do basic nursing ie drug dispension, giving injections etc. a degree is 3years and makes you more qualified, more likely to get a job, and you will have a broader range of knowledge and practical skills.Barry Said:
