What to wear to nursing job interview?

We Answered:

I would definitely wear a nice pair of slacks and a button down blouse. It's casual but professional.

Nursing schools are full......you can expect at least a two year waiting list.........they only take the very best......how were your grades..........this may hurt your feelings but they choose those who are young and do not have any strings holding them back.......sorry truth hurts.....nice dream..........gonna cost a ton of money......and a lot of time........

Lucy Said:

What is the best way to find an entry-level job for an individual with a bachelor's degree?

We Answered:

Your best source is your college's Career Services office. They can help you with your resume, interview etiquette, and job fairs.

Actually, your best bet to finding a job after graduation is to conduct an internship during your senior year. When I graduated from college, everyone who had successfully completed an internship had a job waiting for them. This is a wonderful way to get practical job experience, to network with professionals in the field, and to add to your resume. Also, you can find out if you really like working in this profession.

You should also speak with your academic advisor about your plans. He or she can give you suggestions on how to look for jobs in this field.

Have you attended any conferences or belong to any professional organizations for health administration? This is another great job resource.

Chances are that you will need to get your Masters degree in order to be competitive for most positions in this profession. Speak with your faculty members for suggestions on good grad schools.

How can I find entry level CNA or Nursing Assistant job in Coloraro for Weekends only? If you know, Pls help?

We Answered:

Antonio Said:

I want to work with the mentally ill. what entry level jobs are there in this field?

We Answered:

I was just about to suggest CNA, then I saw that you had mentioned it. That would probably be your best bet because then if you wanted to further your education, maybe the facility would pay for some or all of your school. Also...the facility should reimburse you for the CNA course.
