need information about nursing school in new york?We Answered:
You can get your associates degree in nursing at a community college, and graduate as an RN. That would take two years. You can get into community college with a GED, no problem. Once you get to cc, though, you'll be required to take certain classes that are pre-requisites for the nursing major. If you do well once you're at cc, and do well in those classes, you can apply to the nursing major. But it's really important that you do well once you get to cc, or you won't get into nursing.
Community college nursing programs are highly reputable, and relatively inexpensive. There are also private, two-year nursing schools as well - those are more expensive than ccs, but if the cc isn't right for you, try the private nursing school.

In nursing homes who has access to personal information? We Answered:
Well, each resident has a chart which is kept behind the nursing station desk. Some places have electronic medical records which are all computerized. Some use a system which is a combination of both. Who has access? Doctors, nurses, social workers, dieticians, therapists, billers / coders - basically anyone who does any work with the resident which requires documentation. Older records are sent to wherever they store their records, usually a separate secured room.Lee Said:
