Information Of Nursing

Steve Said:

Is this correct or did i receive false information on the nursing program?

We Answered:

Well, if the school admissions reps are telling you 5 years then it will be 5 years - but most schools that offer a BSN program are designed to be completed in 4 years if you attend full time every semester.

As for clinicals, you don't have to do this on your own - your school arranges clinical experiences as part of the program. You're paying them tuition - it's their job to provide these experiences for you.

Jessica Said:

does anyone have any information on nursing opportunities on the isle of wight?

We Answered:

I used to live on the mainland coast right across from the Isle of Wight. It was a nice little boat ride in summer.

I can't imagine why you would want to actually live there and work as a nurse. The Island is very small, and although it was many years ago now, as I recall the population was too. You wouldn't get any kind of wide-range nursing experience for one thing. And unless it has become a "wildly exotic" tourist venue (I just can't imagine that) you would probably be bored to death in six months.
