Job For Nurse

Roger Said:

Where can I find examples of personal statements for the student nurse applying for first nursing job?

We Answered:

You could write about what parts of the clinical you esp. enjoyed that relate to where you are applying. Some of my best experience for nursing came from my jobs in electronics, the military, and rock and roll concert venues/support. Take a step back, think about what you are already good at and think how it can help grow you in your new profession.

They know they are not getting a seasoned nurse. you are what you are and you are needed and wanted as you are. Remember that you are choosing them much more then they are choosing you. Good luck and welcome.

Claire Said:

Are there groups or organizations in the us, that will bring a foreigner here to train for a nurse job?

We Answered:

I'm not sure about bringing a foreigner over, but I know many hospitals will pay for an individual's education if they sign a contract to work for the hospital. Since their is a shortage hospitals are desperate for nurses even if it means they have to pay for their education.

Wanda Said:

What does a practical nurse job consist of?

We Answered:

It depends on where you work and if you are IV certified. In a hospital setting with IV certification, on a med/surgical floor. You would be given the less sick patients and you would still be expected to care for the patients. If you want a realistic view of what a nurse does and you are 16 you should go take a certified nursing assistant course and become a CNA. Good Luck
