Feeling stuck in a complicated goo called "Life"?

We Answered:

I think you need to tough it out. I know you both want a second child, but put that on hold until the economy gets back on track and better jobs become available. Once there are better jobs, get out there and pursue something that pays more so you can afford to raise a second child.

Its good to be loyal, even if its to a job that doesn't pay as much as it should, but you should also think about your family. You owe it to them to be able to support them.

Currently an LVN in TX. Seeking change in career from patient care to no hands on with patients. Suggestions?

We Answered:

The options are more limited for an LVN than for an RN. Have you considered attending an LVN to RN program. Then you could get a position which would allow a non-traditional role easier.

The LVN is essentially a direct patient care occupation, while the RN being a patient care management position, allows for more versatility
