It sounds like you might be better suited for a job in health information management (Medical records) or coding. These people evaluate medical charts and assign codes to the diagnosis and care given so the hospital can bill to receive appropriate reimbursement.

You also might consider a job in finance such as billing and analysts.
Another area is in quality assurance.

You actually have a few options... I always recommend college or ROTC first, but if you're not ready for college(like I wasn't), you can enlist. You can enlist as a medic first, and yes you can do combat work as a woman, I've been a medic for eight years, with two combat tours. You can also become a medic and then an LPN or RN later.
