From now on you could just start being busy with something when they want to come over. They ARE smothering you plain & simple. And like you said, she no doubt wouldn't pass her finals because you wouldn't be rite there to help her, so what good is helping/doing her homework really doing her?! Without you there, she wouldn't be able to even do it. So to be honest, letting her do her own homework would actually doing her one big favor! This IS something she actually NEEDS! He is an insecure child at 45! He needs to grow up & you sure don;t need to baby sit him either. So just plain do whatever you must do to break away from them. In more was than one, it would do you ALLa world of good. You could just be going somewhere, your computer is broken, ec. etc. Just be as strong as you can be & always have an excuse of one kind or another, They just may make new friends & let you off the hook...good luck to you...:)
