Do which ever you like. It doesn't matter about others opinion. Also, never chose a profession over another due to salary. 9/10 people who chose professions because of salary end up not liking their job.

nursing deals with people bioengineering deals with people fluid. if youre not a people person go for engineering Nursing pays very well of course the higer the nursing degree the better and bio medical pays even more

I have a B.A. in Education, but went back and got an Associates in Nursing. I started on evenings 3p-11p, in 1997, at 20.01 an hour. I made an additional 3.25/hour for evenings and another $4/hour for each Saturday or Sunday I worked. So, as a new grad, I made 23.26 Monday-Friday and about 27.26 for each Sat/Sunday I worked. Now, 12 years later, I do weekends only close to 38/hour (no extras for shifts). It varies where you live. I'm in the Midwestern US.

You need to be dedicated and you need excellent "people" skills!
