Not sure how the education system is in Ga but out here in California most of the local city or community colleges offer a nursing program. The RN program itself is usually 4 semesters long but there are prerequsite classes you have to take before entering the program. These are classes are biology, anatomy, chemistry, college algebra and some general classes such as english, sociology and psychology. Go to your local college and talk to a counselor....they can tell you the specific classes you need and get you started in the right direction.
