I found one job.
They usually get paid minimum wage first year,
and usually up to 11 per hour with experience. [Please note some facilities will pay much more based on circumstances! For instance some spastic foundations will pay up to 16 per hour.]

Rosemary Said:

How much is the tuition fee for Certified Nursing Assistant class and how much is the hourly salary?

We Answered:

I paid $800 for my class, and my hourly pay when I first started was $9.36.
Some places like employment agencies will help you pay if you meet the criteria, and sometimes you can be reimbursed after working as a CNA for six months. It depends on where you live.

CNA (certified nursing assistant) salary?

We Answered:

Hey there.... i have my certification as a nursing assistant and I have liscence in Alabama, Georgia & Florida. Depending on the facility the pay can be very different. In Georgia I know people have worked for as little as five an hour (which is CRAZY!) to much work for to little money! I only work through nursing agencies which will pay you double what a facility will. For instance fresh out the door with my cna I was hired in making 10.50. Where as the place that certified me & i got my licence from was only paying me 7.75 (Alabama) and that was on an 11p-7a shift!!! :-) crazy ****!

Edna Said:

what is the average salary for a cna(certified nursing assistant) in the prescott arizona area?

We Answered:

The CNA is an important person in hospital and long term care facility care but it really is the grunt job. You'll perform the heavy lifting, the delightful clean ups and so on. That said, remember that there is no such thing as dishonorable work when you need to take care of your family and when you are taking care of people who can't care for themselves.
As for how much you can earn, check out www.salary.com and you'll get a fair idea of the salary range. It will be more than minimum wage but you'll only get into the lowest of double digits hourly - even with lengthy experience.
Earn what you can and think about getting some sort of degree. Financial aid can make college affordable for anyone but finish what you start.
