Nursing Career Facts

Sara Said:

Are my grades and GPA good enough to qualify for nursing school?

We Answered:

Most nursing schools wouldn't require higher levels of math like calculus. Math 100 and Intro to Statistics would be enough. Depending on your college of choice, you would apply to get into the college itself, THEN apply to get into the nursing major.

Nursing schools wouldn't look only at your GPA. Some require you to take a separate entrance exam, and some letters of recommendation.

What's more important than grades to being a great nurse is the passion because nursing is a science and an art of caring. Good luck!
