Well I am a RN, BSN , I make more than LPNs and always. have. I actually have taught LPN school If you want nearly instant gratification such as 1 year of schooling LPN may be your option. If you are willing to put in more time and money 2-4 yrs BSN program for your RN is a better choice. Many facilities will hire a BSN or ADN 2 yr degree. Some RN's specialized in diabetic education with some additional training. Good Luck, hope this helps

Very good career in terms of pay. Pays much more here than in most other countries. Also, there is a shortage of nurses. So many nurses come from overseas. But it is a very hard job nevertheless. Most nurses that come from the Philippines also don't have to pay as much for their education as you would have to in the States. They get their education there, but then go to the States to work there for more money.
