Think 60 years ahead, you are on your death bed (sorry but it does happen) now think of everything you've accomplished, are you satisfied with it?
Is there anything you would have or could have done differently or better?

What will you be leaving behind? Was it all worth it.

Now back to the present. What would you like to reflect on at the end of your life?
Is what you are doing now contributing to that vision, then by all means do it. If not, then do not do it.

Over time you will become better at doing the things that contribute towards your life ambition and doing less that detract from it.

Plan your life, live your life according to your plan and you will be on your way to fulfill your destiny.

If you have difficulties getting your "end-of-life" vision established, do not fret or worry too much about it, just take every job opportunity as it comes and first analyze it in this fashion:
Write down on a piece of paper ALL the pros and cons of the job.
The pros and cons must be in relation to the fact if you'll be happy with the experience at the end of your life or not.

Soon you'll be able to do this mentally (without writing) very quickly about any decision you need to make.

Also remember it is the set of the sail that determines your direction, not the wind. The same wind blows on us all, it is only the set of the sails that differentiate us.
In other words, it is ALL in your hands, do not let others dictate to you
