I want to be a physical therapist should i take a nursing course? We Answered:
If you want to be a nurse, take a nursing course. If you want to be a physiotherapist, take a physiotherapist course. They are two different professions.Christian Said:
Easiest way to start a nursing career??? AND FAST!!! PLEASE HELP...?We Answered:
in your case, i'd get a GED instead of a diploma. and then you can get into a community college and start working into becoming an RN with an AS degree. i will tell you though that it is hard to get into nursing school at this day and age...the school i want rejects people that have 3.9-4.0 GPA and supplemental cirteria they met.
so if you want to be a nurse, you've got to sacrifice a whole lot and study for those perfect As. nursing schools are impacted and they only accept the best out of the best.

Nursing aide then become an RN?We Answered:
Yeah, I don't see why not. You will just have to balance school and work as you go along. People in the nursing profession do it all the time. I had a friend who started out as an aide and is now in med school working on being a doctor, has his RN under his belt and is doing work plus school. It's a big commitment if you are willing, but worth it.Frances Said:
would you still continue your nursing career if you are already a supervisor in a call center? - RN here?We Answered:
You have much better growth opps in the field of nursing. ANYWHERE you go, you can get a job. The same can't be said for a call center position. That having been said, if you don't truly enjoy nursing, then get out. I used to work in a hospital and nurses who don't enjoy the job make for bad nurses.
Jeffrey Said:
Desperate! I need to decide NOW if nursing is really want I want to pursue, but have some questions.?We Answered:
Don't worry about what people think. If its what you really want to do, then do it. I found it better not to ask people their advice honestly. I am starting the nursing program in 2 weeks. I talked to other people, (including disgruntled nurses and I am not kidding), who advised against it. It all comes down to what you want. There are so many opportunities in nursing, not just bedside. When you continue your education and get your bachelors or masters, many doors open up, so there are many options if you decide bedside is not for you. Don't worry about other peoples opinions, follow your heart.EDIT: just to let you know, I actually did listen to others in the beginning, and went a different route. I wasn't happy, and knew I should have done nursing originally. I ended up going back to school and now here I am at 30, just starting the program.
