as the two are very different you probably would need to start in an assistant administrator position to learn some of the complexities.
in a nursing home you will be dealing with everything from home health as well as
housekeeping,
maintenance,
dietary,
procurement/supply,
restorative therapy,
as well as medicare CNA training programs.
staffing and retention are similar but most likely on a much larger scale.
state auditor issues are different and include health department for the kitchen and fire marshalls for building.
family issues are different from home health care.
as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy issues tend to have a different focus.

the demand over the next 20 years is expected to at least double according to the US Department of Labor.

All it does is tell them if you have a criminal record. It doesn't include things like traffic tickets or parking violations.

I think they may ask: Are you compassionate?
Can you smile even when a patient gets confused, irritable, or combative?
Can you deal with people who have Alzheimer's?
Do you mind changing depends for those who cannot get to the bathroom?
Can you help people bathe and shower? Can you hand bathe?
