The pay in my state is higher for Hospital employees.

While it's possible to find jobs where you aren't doing direct patient care (such as ask-a-nurse phone lines, or insurance company case review, etc.), working from home is pretty rare.

No!!! Dont change your major just happens I am majoring in the same field. Regardless, of the region you live in their are hospitals and clinics everywhere. I am assuming that you already have your graduate degree in Public Health ot Health services administration in which that is required for most decent salary jobs here in florida. Perhaps that may be the reason you are having diffculties. Sorry I just reread that you are still in college. Best thing I can think of is just trying to hired at an hospital as perhaps and health unit coordinator or something of that nature.
