How could I find a job in a nursing home in London?

We Answered:

edit. I was just looking around that second link and there's a purple box in the bottom right that has a link 'applying from outside the uk' might be of interest.

Job search question from a recent college graduate.?

We Answered:

Try finding either a headhunter or a temporary agency, which can help place you with companies for full time or part time interviews. In the latter, it may not initially sound good to get a temp job, but if employers like you, often they will hire you on full time. Be open to different sorts of jobs, and you'll be more likely to find one.

You might also try applying directly to companies of interest, e.g. find a local hospital or pharmaceutical company and apply to their business department.

Also try your college's career center. Often they have full time job resources for alumni, as they have a vested interest in you finding a good job.

Networking can also help -- try your relatives, friends, your parents' friends, etc. to see if anyone works at a company that is hiring.

Good luck!

Best way to find nursing jobs?

We Answered:

Hospital Website!! In this economy, with many hospital systems being on a hiring "slowdown", their HR reps and nurse recruiters are not using those "headhunter" websites; instead they are simply going through their own pool of applicants that have applied directly for a specific position.

Which Job site Portals Doctors or Nurses use to search for their Job in USA?

We Answered:

The medical industry holds a rich vein of different jobs from the obvious nurse and doctor jobs to adminstrative jobs. My sister really wanted to work in this area, but she wasn't certain perfectly what she really wanted to do. She found the site in the resource box below, it has lots of tips, and it helped her to decide what she really wanted to do. They have guidance with other jobs too.

As a nursing assistant working in home health, is it right to search out other job oppurtunities?

We Answered:

But of course!!!

You don't want to continue to be at the bottom of the ladder, do you? NO! Of course not.

Build other skills, such as learning to draw blood, learn EKG, administer injections, etc.

CNA's come a dime a dozen; but if you have more experience in other things (other then changing bed chucks and cleaning bed pans), you will be an asset to ANY ORGANIZATION!

Learn, grow and better yourself....ALWAYS :o)

Need help in search of a CNA job? (Certified Nursing Assistant)?

We Answered:

You can go to any nursing home and get a job. You can also go to a hospital and work. Better yet, go on and get your LPN. Massachusetts pays their health care workers good money. And look at it this way...an education is never a waste of money.Good luck to you.
