It's possible that the agency could be held responsible,but for theft you should go after the person directly. I'm sure the agency has insurance that covers their employees but whether theft would be covered under it I'm not sure.
Usually a felony charge against a nurse for anything can trigger a suspension of the license. A misdemeanor probably wouldn't affect the license unless it was drug related. A misdemeanor might affect her job as most places would not want this type of employee.
If this nurse stole from one of your family members,please report it to both the agency and the police.
