Nursing Jobs In Atlanta

Donald Said:

How is the job market for registered nurses in Atlanta, Ga?

We Answered:

According to a friend who's an RN at Piedmont Hospital, there are opportunities out there! You will be able to find work wherever you go. As in every city, some hospitals will pay more than others -- and of course, as a new grad, you'll earn less than someone with experience -- but I suspect you'll have no trouble finding work.

You might want to pull up employment websites will still in OH: Northside Hospital, St. Joseph's, Kennestone, North Fulton ....

Rafael Said:

My Fiance' is a nurse in Ukraine, how can she get employed in the US?

We Answered:

Three ways:

1. Get a hospital or medical professional to hire her, and sponsor her for an H1-B visa. Of course, they are all gone for this year so you will wait until at least this time next year for the next batch of visa's to be released and hope she is one of the people who's name gets picked out of the lottery.

2. Have her apply for the green card lottery in October. Those visa's will be issued starting about a year later if she wins a spot.

2. Apply for a Fiancee' visa, and bring her here and marry her. Takes 6-8 months.

All the information on these situations can be found at http://www.uscis.gov

A good fiancee visa lawyer is Allan Lolly at http://www.fianceevisas.com/.

And of course, to be employed as a nurse, she has to meet the certification tests in the USA.

We Answered:

I don't think you should have a problem finding a nursing job in Atlanta, they are in high demand anyway and Atlanta has lots of hospitals (St. Joseph's, Scottish Rite, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Emory Adventist Hospital, Emory Crawford Long, Grady Memorial, Northside, Kennestone, Atlanta Medical Center, Piedmont Hospital) , and doctor offices and other places like the Asthma & Allergy Clinic or the Shepard Center (place for patients with spinal injuries) or the VA Hospital in DeKalb County.....
