Veterinary Nurse Jobs?

We Answered:

Take-home pay
There are no set salary scales for veterinary nurses. However, pay can start at about £10,000 while you are training, rising to £15,000 to £17,000 when you are qualified. Senior veterinary nurses can earn from £18,000 upwards.

Some veterinary nurses receive a lower basic salary but are given a share of the practice profits or bonus payments. They may receive additional benefits such as private health insurance, free veterinary care and support with accommodation costs.

Sonia Said:

Veterinary nurse jobs?

We Answered:

Recently I saw an advert for a qualified veterinary nurse and the starting salary was £16.2k a year rising to £19k (this was for an animal charity, PDSA). Another job I saw at a private vets practice started at £25k.

As a starting salary that's not bad!

The jobs will be in high demand but they're definitely out there. As I said I've seen 2 adverts in my area in the past week (I'm looking for a trainee position) and it's worth checking each individual vet's website as a lot of them list vacancies on there. xx

Stanley Said:

jobs in Ireland want to move there?

We Answered:

Unfortunately the Health board or HSE have a freeze on recruitment of new staff, you'd have to go to private hospitals. Now is not a good time to be a health care worker in Ireland, it seems.

Your husband should be alright, though.

Melanie Said:

Is there any job agency that qualifies me?

We Answered:

For applying to Gulf regions , you need experience in your occupation.
For UK,Ireland, canada, australia, new zealand you need to take ielts exam and should attain the minimum score.
For US you should write NCLEX RN and meet concerned state requirements .
