I understand your position and how you feel, but you have to look at the situation you are in and make the right decision. The stress of the job is not good for you and your family. It's a strain on all of you. Plus you know that you want to do more with your life career-wise. There is a lot more for you in the future, and you should be able to give of yourself to your kids, especially at this age as they are young and growing.

I think that you should go ahead and submit your notice. In life there will always be situations where you will have to say No to certain things and yes to others, and you cannot be able to always make everyone happy.
