I'm no expert in the vet field...if you love animals and are not a big people person..you seemed to answer your ?...i think the more education and experience you have, you will be compensated to some degree...depending on the facility or employer. Choose the occupation where your heart is, where you enjoy and are content and do not feel miserable going to work. Close your eyes, and imagine yourself in that environment, in that field whichever you are debating....sometimes it's not the money, it's moreso, will you be happy and healthy...I hope this helps!
