You are a new nurse experiencing reality shock. What you are feeling is fairly universal. My advice would be to give it a year before you truly decide that this isn't for you. A year is about how long it takes for a new nurse to be more comfortable in his/her skin. With experience and education you don't have to be "stuck" at the bedside. There are many options for nurses.
