Associates Degree In Occupational Therapy

Travis Said:

is it possible to obtain a master's in OT from having an associates in OT?

We Answered:

The easiest way to go about getting a masters in your situation, since you are at the associates level would be to find a "2+3" occupational therapy program.

The 2+3 or "combined" program is a program for students who want to become OT's but haven't achieved the bachelors level yet. So your first year and a half of the program is OT related courses that get you a bachelors in health sciences or related. The next phase of the program is the "masters" part where you do all your masters level work and clinicals or fieldwork. It is what I am doing right now. Look one of the programs up in the state you live in at this website...

Most OT programs are set up this way, but you'll have to click on each schools website to make sure it is the "2+3" setup. Good luck
