to practice as an OT you need to has a masters degree.it will take you anywhere from 4-6+ years to get there depending on if you take summers off or not (could take a little more or less depending on the program you enter as well).
as far as classes in high school. I would say any anatomy would help chem and bio would help as well. you'll have to take all of these again in college but you well at least have a little knowledge going into it.
I would also recommend shadowing an OT to see if you really like it.

I'd advise any of them but Seattle simple based off of the fact you want people who are friendly. People in Seattle are polite, but not well-known for being "friendly." They're civil, but tend to be closed-off.That's the nice way of putting it. My impression after a year there was that they are self-important, self-congratulatory, snooty and socially inept. I'd never consider living there again, ever.
People in Portland are substantially more pleasant.
