Occupational Therapy:A form of therapy in which patients are encouraged to engage in vocational tasks or expressive activities, such as art or dance, usually in a social setting.
If your daughter is interested in this type of therapy, or if she has a real passion for it, I would encourage her to get her degree. It takes a dedicated person to work with others in a therapy setting, regardless of the type. This form of therapy, however, would be far more enjoyable for your daughter, in my opinion, than other forms such as cognitive therapy, psychotherapy, behavioral therapy, etc. which can be clinical, analytical or dispassionate.
I wish your daughter well in whatever she chooses. Best to you.
