Can I get into SUNY Buffalo?

We Answered:

even though your GPA is lower then 85 i think you have a chance bc UB does accept lots of peoples GPA between 2.5 and 2.9 and you fall in there. look on collegeboard.com. its really helpful. taking your SAT is a great idea. to boost your chance apply early decision. sometimes if u do early decision they see u want to go there and will wait for first semester senior grades to come in and then make a choice. so do really well your senior year. i think you have a shot. its not that competitive and being a minority is typically a good thing. colleges like diversity. and oh if u have a advance regents diploma that wiill help a ton. they r bound to admit you.

Brenda Said:

Which admission factors matter most for graduate school?

We Answered:

At a good graduate school what matters most are GPA, graduate school entrance test scores (if applicable), and letters of recommendation.

I would not have qualified on any of the factors stated in the question, except intellectual curiosity, but the three factors named in the previous sentence resulted in my admission to a top-ten graduate school for a profession which culminated in a doctoral degree and a much higher salary than is earned in the career taught at the school which produced the stated list. Race, ethnicity, gender, and other diversity factors are illegal criteria.

I would not want to attend a school which apparently does not care about academic achievement.

what is the best way to manage ptsd and panic problems whilst outside ?

We Answered:

It sounds to me like you may have been through some ghastly life experiences, at the hands of other people. Who may have lacked the sympathy skills you needed to overcome all these hopeless, despairing feelings you go through. I feel you need to see an experienced and accomplished analyst or social worker with the maturity and perspective to enable you to learn to live with and deal with these turbulent, overwhelming emotions, as and when they arise, so that ultimately you can achieve your hopes, and more importantly get some sort of fulfillment and satisfaction from life. Nevermind having no formal qualifications and work experience, i bet you've already got strength and talent you don't know about, believe me! Keep away from the harsh and judgemental attitudes of others; their unenlightened and hardly suitable companionship material for anyone, especially not someone who is vulnerable. You need someone with proper competence who will have some humanity and help you to make good decisions-sounds to me you've been let down a bit by the folk around you. I hope this helps. Stay calm, build high for inner peace and contentment within your heart.

If you have had 2 seizures and they are being controlled by medications, I don't see why you wouldnt pass. I work with nurses who have seizures but are also controlled with meds.

I hope this helps, good luck to you.
