You must earn a master's degree,which is 6 years,to become an occupational therapist.You take classes like anatomy & physiology,lots of psychology,sociology,communications,engl… comp.math...etc.It's basically a liberal arts education at most colleges until you get to your upper-level courses that actually deal with occupational therapy which are your clinicals,practicums and such.Dan Said:

Occupational therapy would be a wise choice.You will be able to work with children as well as with adults, and your salary will be higher than that of a teacher.
The occupational therapist who comes into my classroom to work with my special needs children, says she is very happy in her profession.

Go for Occupational therapist all the way especially if you are compassiante and patient....That is what I want to become. Number one..You will ALWAYS HAVE A JOB IN THAT FIELD.Go to your local hospitals website and check out there job openings, I guarantee you see alot of openings for Nurses, OT's,and CNA'S go for something that is in the health field and that is in high demand.Goodluck.Charles Said:

theres always a lot of people who apply for a job, so dont be afraid of that. if it were me i would choose being a school teacher because i love kids i dont know what an ocupational therapist is but yuo choose what you want to do! i would probably take the one that offers more money =]i hope this helped you!
