Typically a therapist will make anywhere from 60 - 80 as stated by another poster but the pay you make depends on a lot of factors. Number one is where you live!! Some areas in the us are so desperate for therapists that you can write your own ticket. Other factors include amount of experience, type of setting that you work in, amount of hours working.
A PT is now an entry level doctorate degree and therefore PT's start out a bit higher as a new grad. An OT degree is now an entry level Master's degree. Most therapists work a primary full time job and then prn at a few others. The base salary also depends on the benefits offered. Hospital are low paying but you get the best health insurance at the lowest cost and more paid days off, versus a nursing home where the salary is a lot higher but you pay out the nose for health insurance with minimal days off. all in all yes the potential is there but it depends on how hard you work for it!!
