I would recommend getting them a nice Thank you card and some type of holiday treat like cookies or cupcakes and/or flowers. Go for the store bought type as some people in the health field don't eat homemade stuff. I think that sounds like a great gift. when i was in school, i would've loved to get something like that. She's in school too, so she'll understand that you do not have a lot of money. Wow what a family. You sound like really good people. Your problem makes me think of how many times I have to pass up baby in the lap work.Maybe you could sit somewhere that he could sit next to you. Maybe get him a little pad of paper and pen and let him do work while you do work. Just let him know that its OK to do things alone sometimes but you will always be there when he needs you.
