Occupational Therapy Gifts

Jesse Said:

What should I get my sons therapists for Christmas?

We Answered:

I would recommend getting them a nice Thank you card and some type of holiday treat like cookies or cupcakes and/or flowers. Go for the store bought type as some people in the health field don't eat homemade stuff. Professionals in the health field are taught that it's not really right to accept certain types of gifts for service. You can never go wrong with treats or flowers!

Laurie Said:

How long will he spend in jail?

We Answered:

breaking and entering
theft of property [laptops cokes etc] depends on the amount of the items as to the level of punishment.
destroying of property.
the cash value from the register.
and finally when caught was a minor in possession [state laws vary as to the amount they class as intent to sell]

as a 1st offence to be honest this is a fairly major one and about the ONLY going for him right now is his age............but you never know with Texas they could try him as an adult and he still serve some time in juvy, then move on to big boys jail............

We Answered:

Lois Said:

How long in Juvy??????

We Answered:

From the charges probably until he reaches 18.

Loretta Said:

Do you think this is a good gift?

We Answered:

I think that sounds like a great gift. when i was in school, i would've loved to get something like that. She's in school too, so she'll understand that you do not have a lot of money. Also, you're putting a lot of effort into personalizing it, which i think is always a great thing. I'm sure that you being there will be enough!

How to get my 5 year old off my lap?

We Answered:

Wow what a family. You sound like really good people. Your problem makes me think of how many times I have to pass up baby in the lap work.

Maybe you could sit somewhere that he could sit next to you. Maybe get him a little pad of paper and pen and let him do work while you do work. Just let him know that its OK to do things alone sometimes but you will always be there when he needs you.
