I dont know about the pay scale in India.In the US its about 40,000 starting out. Also occupational therapist help people rehab the small movements of their body like learning to write after a stroke. Think fine motor movement in contrast to Physical therapy which is Gross motor movements like rehabing a knee after surgery.Corey Said:

The COTAs already are allowed to develop plans of care "in collaboration with an Occupational Therapist". Regardless of any changes, this wording is not likely to change.PTAs are technically allowed to assist under the direct supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Again these descriptions are different, due to the nature of the treatments usually provided, and the descriptions of the duties is not likely to change in the near future.
