That would be a good way to start out. Even going to a McDonald's with a play area gets him more active with other kids.Why do you want to stay? He could go to a daycare once a week to get some socialization skills. It is good for them to have time without the parents. Maybe you could get a daycare that offers web cams if you are that unsure of it. My daughter goes to daycare part time and learns so much there. She is much better off going there PT than staying home FT. She learns so much I wouldn't be able to teach her if it was just me and her at home. I feel very comfortable with her daycare. Just make sure you are looking into a place that is certified and registered.
