Rehab centers help you return to your normal functioning status.Don't worry the social worker at the hospital will contact the nursing facility and they will let you know if you qualify and if you don't you won't get in.If you are over 65 and have medicare if will pay for 20 days and if you also have insurance they will continue to pay after your medicare exhausts.You won't need speech therapy.Occupational therapy helps you adjust to your normal activities of daily living with your disability.Personally you shouldn't need more than 20 days.If you only have insurance you may not get but a week.Believe me they will let you knowLeo Said:
