Wanda Said:

Any good sites on physiotherapy / occupational therapy / rehabilitation of patients after broken hips?

We Answered:

A search for hip fractures can turn up a lot of websites, and it can be difficult to know where to find valid information. Here are some good sources regarding hips and hip fractures. Best wishes for you and your grandmother.

Norman Said:

My father continues to refuse his phys and occupational therapy. How can we convince him. He's always 'tired

We Answered:

I can certainly relate and sympathize with you. My late husband had a stroke and was both mentally and physically challenged. He was sent to a nursing home from the hospital on doctor's orders. He would not cooperate with the therapists and, therefore, lost the ability to walk. After a year or so, his mind begin to get better but he still would not do the therapy. I never lost hope but did realize that it was going to be a long hard journey. Don't give up; just keep loving him and try to help him. Bless you.
