Studying medicine in Singapore?

We Answered:

i haven't got a clue where you're from so it's a massive stone for me to crush
if you have got plan to study in US or UK i wouldn't suggest you about which one is better
it depends on your intention and potential but i could give you some general info-
1) Is Singapore affordable compared to US and UK?
Well European countries or cities are the most expensive in the world
2) Is the degree recognised in the US? good question, well normally they don't recognise degrees from outside US and UK, but it depends on what university you are going to, if you want to join doggy universities they probably would accept any degrees. it's same thing in UK.
currently US and UK immigrations are ridiculously stricter than before to get in for foreigners due to last Christmas air bombing attack. Harvard University, UCLA and UCSF are fantastic in US.
In UK we have got University of Cambridge, Oxford, UCL, Imperial College London etc are literally brilliant for any medical courses. But tuition fees are incredibly expensive for students who are from outside of UK and EU. Small room fee in campus is roughly = £500 - £600 per month (including internet access, utilities etc) if you want to live in London that would be much more expensive. Foods/Transportation/Cabs/ are expensive as well as you already know. if you are eligible for UK student visa, while you're staying in UK you won't be allowed to engage in any business more than 20 hours per week. minimum basic pay in UK is around £7 an hour depend on nature of job and expensive you will get paid higher like £9,£15,£25,£50 etc per hour. the most important thing is that when you're done with you study YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE THE COUNTRY. UK boarder agency will not extend your student visa any more when you finish study. There will be no hope for you to get full time job in a proper company as you know both US and UK were seriously hit by credit crunch and UK recession is just ended up. Besides, most employers are more willing to take employees who are British citizens and their second choice would be American citizens with most flexible, highly professional and tremendously excellent qualifications.

i am a Brit, 14, from London and have visited to all those American universities while holiday in states.
so i just want to say that no matter wherever you're from only HOME will be the BEST for ever.

Home schooling in singapore?

We Answered:

Homeschooling is basically educating your children at home. It allows you to better cater to your child's interest and learning style and generally provides superior academic results. Here is some general info on homeschooling:

All children learn at different rates, and I think it's great that you are looking for a way to let your daughter move at her own pace.

Good luck!
