Occupational Therapy Training Program

Shawn Said:

English teacher..please correct my recommdation letters!!?

We Answered:

I was an English major for 3 years. Looks pretty good - but I made a few changes:

Dear Sir or Madam,
I’m pleased to recommend XXX, to study in your Master’s program in Occupational Therapy.
I’m a professor in the Department of Special Education, National Taiwan Normal University. I supervised her and a special team from A-Bao Education Foundation on the project “PDA: learning, free from obstacles.” During our one year cooperation, I discovered not only her outstanding clinical performance, but her thinking is also multi-dimensional which is probably due to her long-term working with educational specialists and related medical personnel. In addition, her research attitude is discreet. She often actively discusses the project with me.
From my observation, XXX possesses several personal characteristics. Some of these characteristics include but are not limited to:
?She’s a team player but yet can work independently.
?She shows high interests in doing research and has demonstrated sharp observation skills.
?She demonstrates high spirit in Occupational Therapy and in helping and serving others.
I believe that she will finish her degree based on the related work experience, work attitude, and personal characteristics if given the chance. She will be able to assist more people with the professional training provided by your institution. I recommend her application without hesitation.

With sincere regards,

Enlisted in National Guard, not happy with Bacherlor's degree. Guidance please.?

We Answered:

You have a tremendous amount of questions here - I'll answer the National Guard v. ROTC part.

Stay in the Guard. You make more money and if you decide you like the service, your NG service counts toward retirement - your 20 years. ROTC participation doesn't count toward retirement - it does give you a slight increase in pay but your NG pay will be significantly higher.

When you get your degree, apply for a direct commission in the military - any of the services. You will be commissioned as a 2d LT with 4 or so years of service and probably will pick up your 1LT much faster than the ROTC guys.

Good luck to you
