You need to do your volunteer hours where you can observe both. You need to decide which one you like better. PT has some of the harder sciences but it is very similiar in difficulty. PT is a 3 year grad program. OT is a 2 year program. Since there are jobs for both, you can go to any school you can go to. I would recommend that you go to a school that you like that you can get out in the least amount of debt.PT and OT have many open jobs. It is worth it, if it is what you thing you would enjoy.
