Very reasonable.

There is a HUGE shortage of pharmacists, and you'll be able to get work almost anywhere. This will be true for a long time.

A pharmacologist is a totally different career, which I'd think would be much less available.

However, by the time you get to where you need to decide, you'll know a lot more about the current situation.

I agree, you want to study things that you enjoy. The exact major is probably totally unimportant, so you should pursue what you find interesting.

I recommend that you keep on doing well in those classes.

I also recommend that you look into applying to one of those 0-6 year pharmacy school programs.

However, the basic requirements in order to get into pharm school are

1 year of physics

1 year of chemistry

1 year of organic chemsitry

1 year of biology

1 year of english

1 semester of public speaking

other requirements depending on school of pharmacy

These are the college requirements, but pharmacy schools differ on other types of requirements so you might want to check it out when it comes time to apply.

Pharmacists get to choose their hours, and they can work part-time if they want. Either way, you'll get paid a lot of money for it.
