Career Options For Pharmacy Technicians

Terrence Said:

I need some advice regarding about migration to New Zealand.?

We Answered:

You may need to go through an NZQA overseas qualification assessment. If your education complies with certain criteria, you may be able to work in your profession without any additional, NZ-specific training. If the assessment indicates the necessity of doing a few courses at university level, you'd be fine after that. The NZQA has a web site.

Skrew what they think, your gonna have to do this for most of your life.. you might as well like it. if you want a good job as a doctor you'll have to work hard and strive for it.. you'll also need a high grade point average...
i hope it all works out.

Nursing school options?

We Answered:

I would just go for it all at once. Once you are an LPN you will be getting paid decent and maybe you will not want to go back to school. You will feel like you achieved something already and not go for the grand price. Bite the bullet. Everything that is worth doing and will make you a better person, is DIFFICULT. Nothing is easy. Get help like headstart. They go by your income which is good when you are a full time student.

So many friends have thought like you and once they were an LPN they were too tired to go back to school. Once you start working 12 hour shifts you will think different. There are many scholarships that will help you pay for nursing school. You just have to take time to do research.

Good luck!!!

What Career Should i Choose?

We Answered:

In my point of view, I will suggest Pharmacy Technician because it is a very rewarding job with good pay and the average starting salary is around 25/hour which is really good. I am giving my opinion bases on personal experience, I have been struggling to live a good life just because I happened to choose a job that I truly liked but it was not rewarding at all financially. A friend of mine finds Pharmacy Technician very interesting. What I would suggest is to read magazines related with Pharmacy Technician and also go to a couple of local pharmacies and speak with the technicians: ask them how their career began and how they feel about it. Personal experience is always better than just listening to someone that has no clue on what they are talking about

Am I making the right decision?

We Answered:

Talk to an admissions counselor at Purdue about what would be the best thing to do. I've never heard of Job Corps unfortunately so I can't give you any other advice.
