Could i get into a pharmacy school starting off at a community college?

We Answered:

Yeah you could definetly. You could major in something, or just finish the pre-requisites and go straight into the pharmacy school. Majoring might take 3-4 years depending on if you do summer or not, and pre-requisites would only take 2-3 years depending on if you did summer or not. Make sure you get alot of volunteer and leadership in too, they definetly look towards that. Be consistent in volunteer instead of doing it all at once, and also form good relationships with teachers so they can get you good letters of recomendations. Usually you want to apply a year before you actually go into the school, and study for the PCAT, there's books that help you figure out the format of the test. Keep up your grades and go to the university/college that offers a program you want to go into and they could give you more info on how THEY want you to apply and stuff, i'm just giving you the basics. Good luck !

I have got a job interview for pharmacy sales rep, with Bayer. Can i get some advice?

We Answered:

They are going to ask about what you can bring to them in the way of enhancing sales for Bayer.
Also, they usually ask what your goals are, or where you vision yourself 5 years from now. Beef up on your people and communication skills and be prepared to show that you can use them and have in the past, with good results. Anything you have ever done to increase sales at a job in the past as well.

They also like to see that you know the history of the company . When and how were they developed, how they grew, who was the pioneer of the company, and what their reputation is in the present, as well as the obvious; their products.
