Different Types Of Pharmacy Careers

Ricardo Said:

What do you think about the whole Shane Carwin incident?

We Answered:

First of all. Shane is NOT accused of steroid distribution. What he is, is on a list of clients for a man who was arrested for distribution, which means he may have been using them. I say let the evidence come out. He could have had a valid prescription and has not tested positive

Perry Said:

What type of college courses should I take to become a pharmacist?

We Answered:

Take some chemistry and biochemistry courses if they are offered, and also make sure you take some math. Look at the courses that you will have to take once you get accepted to the pharmacy college, and see if you can take some of those and transfer them.

Pharmacy and forensics?

We Answered:

Call a professor of each and ask them. I've usually found them receptive. E-mail may be the best. Go to the college websites. most professors have a way to contact them.

Pharmacy Technician I need help with job.?

We Answered:

If your liscense is current, you should have no problem finding a job in a retail chain pharmacy (Rite Aid, Walgreens) or a supermarket pharmacy. Just start applying for jobs :]

I was hired with only a HS diploma and no experience whatsoever, and a lot of the techs I work with were also hired with no experience or formal training. Why go to school when you can get paid on-the-job training?

How can I motivate my 17 year old brother?

We Answered:

Well, I am not saying this to be rude, but maybe you should guide him. Like, he has a job, but maybe take out a small fee for every paycheck and save it up. Yes, normally people who get D's and F's and are like this are most likely one of the smartest people, or at least int he middle, but they don't try, so no one sees it. Most likely, you've already reminded him about the real world, and how things are going to work out, and what he needs to do. I know he is only 17, but he should probably think about this if he wants a family and all. Any girlfriend? Maybe if she asked him about it he may think about school. Anyways, you can always set a schedule for his school time to make sure he is understanding his work and normally teachers are open for extra credit. Motivation? Think about what he likes and where he likes to go. Since not too much detail was put into that, that is something you'd have to think about. Maybe a special trip or something if he maintains an acceptable flow of grades that if better. My cousin had this problem, so an agreement that if he kept up his grades was made. It was that he and a few of his friends could go to an amusement park, that they'd only have to pay half of the fee, that the parents would take the other half. If his grades didn't get better, it wouldn't happen; it worked by the way.

I hope everything turns out okay!
