Pharmacy is not a good option. Forever, you are locked in a box frantically trying to fill prescriptions, eight -10 hours a day flooded with unhealthy artifical lighting, bogged down with computers and small staff. I know no pharmacist right now who is happy with his or her job. ANY engineering career is far more profitable and intellectually demanding, has a wider range or variety of applications including field work. I know no engineer right now who isn't satisfied, essentially, with his or her career.

Well if you ultimate is medical school you shoud follow that.

Medical bio and a chem background can find you a lot of jobs.

You can work in a lab at a hospital, water treatment plant and many other places.

You can wok in the maturating industry, ep with a sepcailization

In India at present the best job opportunity in:

IT(computers), science (mainly in Chemistry). But being doctor u can have ur own job. But in anycase, if u are the best in ur field, u will get job everywhere. u will be offered job, if u r excellent in ur field.

First, you have to make sure that your Bachelor of pharmacy is equivalent to a Bachelor of pharmacy taught in USA. And if it is not, then you can't do a master of science in pharmacy at any pharmacy university in USA. You will have to work on your bachelor of pharmacy once again. I dont know if you already know that now it takes a good PharmD degree to start your career. However, there are some universities that may be offering a masters in pharmacy, you should check this out. You can find out more information on it at the Long Island University's website. As far as the job is concerned, you first have to get a proper degree in pharmacy before you can start working. As of now, there are good job opportunities in industrial pharmacy.
